Stacey Steele Psychology
welcome to

In-person and virtual therapy rooted in compassion, equity, and evidence-based care.

Meet Stacey
I’m Stacey Steele, a Registered Psychologist based in Medicine Hat, offering in-person therapy locally and online therapy across Alberta, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.
I specialize in trauma recovery, EMDR therapy, complex trauma treatment, and somatic approaches that support the nervous system in healing, not just coping. I also provide EMDR consultation, a burnout recovery program, and professional development for therapists and helping professionals worldwide.
My work is grounded in evidence-based care, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience.
A Personal Message from Me
Hello, and thank you for visiting. You deserve care that honours your experiences and your strength. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can process trauma, reconnect with your inner resources, and build meaningful, lasting change.
Whether you’re working through complex trauma, navigating life transitions, or building resilience after burnout, I’m here to walk alongside you with care and respect.
“I’m dedicated to empowering people to heal from trauma, recover from burnout, and reconnect with their purpose.”

Services I Offer

Individual Therapy
A supportive space to slow down, reflect, and find meaningful change. Available in person or online for adults 18+.

Consultation for Therapists
A collaborative space to deepen your clinical practice and build a sustainable, values-aligned business. I also offer EMDR consultation for certification with EMDRIA.

Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy
Gentle, body-based practices that honour the mind-body connection and support healing from stress, trauma, chronic pain, or burnout.
I take an integrated approach to healing, incorporating mindfulness and body-based practices into my work. This supports holistic, trauma-informed care that honours the mind-body connection.

Let’s Connect
If you’re ready to take the next step in your healing journey — or if you’re a fellow clinician seeking consultation — I’d be honoured to connect with you.
